Perhaps if such people actually saw the capabilities in VAX/DEC/??? Basic, they
would not be so surprised.
Yeah, Basic seems to make much use of calling RTL stuff, and as such isn't
suited for system programming, but, for other stuff, it's quite good.
Have you yet addressed that routine return fiasco ???
