   Yup.  Ever since the folks in the Personnel Department
decided that "Personnel" was insufficiently grandiose, and
changed it to "Human Resources".  (Accepted and reviled.)

   Much as "customers" at a store (Target leaps to mind, but
it's hardly unique) are now called "guests", which is clearly
a lie.  The next time you're an _actual_ guest somewhere,
such as at a friend's home, I'd guess that you could probably
get a can of some beverage from the refrigerator without
either paying for it or risking arrest.  Until that's
possible at a store, "guest" does not apply.

   Similarly euphemized: Complaint -> concern,
problem -> issue, and so on, and on, ...

   What a world; what a world.
