   It sure is.  If you really can't follow clear
instructions, then letting it go might be the best course for
all concerned.

   This would be typical for a system which has only a very
short up-time and a negligible work load.

   That is, the MODPARAMS.DAT info will not take effect.

   You could do that, but some of those proposed changes
might not be desirable.  For example:

   You may not want MAXPROCESSCNT reduced this way because of
the unrealistic workload on the system so far ("Maximum
Observed Processes: 13").

>  @SYS$UPDATE:AUTOGEN GETDATA REBOOT NOFEEDBACK 

   That's what I'd do.  That should get your GBLPAGES change
made without letting the poor feedback affect a bunch of
other parameters.

   That was how many days ago?  The "review
AGEN$PARAMS.REPORT" part would have been useful then.
