Agreed, dodgy software is to blame, but if you are trying to build a
secure system, you must assume that it is vulnerable and can be broken,
given enough time and effort. X86 and it's software is arguably the
biggest attack surface known to man. Assume that VSI will have all
that covered though.

System security is a major issue and likely to become more so, as the
bad guys get ever smarter...
