I have received that exact code from VSI, with reference to HP SSL, that should be enough confirmation that this is indeed made by a DeCompHP employee.

Unfortunately, I ran out of time evaluating the code before the release of OpenSSL 1.1.0.  I have the code and s_client / s_server changes safely tucked in a branch and am looking them over right now.  I expect it to become part of the next OpenSSL 1.0.2 and 1.1.0 updates.
