Does anyone know by chance if a cache error will light up the chassis fault indicator? Another item of info I can't seem to find an answer on.

This is not a major fault; the little clip on batteries that go on the cache modules are dead, so the controller has disabled the cache. When we last checked the batteries were going for insane prices, but more recently they're down to more reasonable levels so we will talk to the customer about replacing them. However until we do that is being reported on both controllers as

Cache:
128 megabyte read cache 128 megabyte write cache Version 2
Cache is GOOD, but Cache is temporarily disabled.
Disable Reason: Redundant Cache Battery Low.
   No unflushed data in cache
   Batteries are disabled
Module #1 is fully charged and turned off.

Still nothing else showing as an error or fault
