So you claim to be psychic and can read my mind and know that I did not
check information from India?

(I have checked Indian job sites before - and I believe I hinted about
iot by explicit talking about "across countries")

True.

But:
* the number of people doing scientific programming in Fortran is rather
   small compared to the number of people working full time in the IT
   industry
* the fact is rather irrelevant for the point about jobs not being
   available - if you want a full time programming job and evaluate
   Fortran, then the amount of Fortran work done by PhD students
   in Physics are irrelevant
