I used line mode quite often on the LA-120s connected to the 11/78*s.
I see no need to vilify those technologies of yesterday. Carburators
served us well far longer than has computer controlled fuel-injection.
Black and white film captured our expieriences long before color film
and film, in general, served us well long before digital photography.
Man went to the moon on slide-rules and rudimentary computer programs
that were *literally* stitched together. My claw hammer works quite
well and it's used far more often than my power nailer. The cordless
screwdriver is wonderful too but I still use my old technology ulna-
radius pronator and supinator powered screwdrivers too.
