Besides business case of high cost of browser and little to none
additional revenue, then this particular case also has some
security issues.
It is not common to allow running a browser, connect to internet and
download kits from a production system today. And the difference
between downloading on a VMS system and moving to a VMS system versus
downloading on a Windows/Linux/Mac system and moving to a VMS
system is not that big.
