   If you're looking for recent Kermit stuff for VMS, then
you might want to look at the stuff under:

      http://antinode.info/ftp/kermit/v9r0_304_dev22/

   When I looked (March), the current official source kit
("x.zip") had format problems on some VMS-specific files, and
a bunch of build problems (bugs).  Supposedly, C-Kermit
9.0.304 Dev.23 is in the oven, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

   At that time, FDC was willing to point me to the solution
of a problem which I had when I changed my DSL modem+router
from one which used port 623 for Telnet to one which used
(plain-old) 23.  "/RAW-SOCKET" is a miracle when Telnet
negotiation fails.  I don't do much with Kermit, but I'd miss
it if it were gone.
