[Info-vax] Exploring a hard drive on a new Vaxstation

I installed OpenVMS 7.3 without erasing the drive - does installing the save-set overwrite what's there or format the drive? 
The countdown during the install indicated lots? of space available - 118386 blocks remained after installing the save-set.  
In addition, I installed the library (52200 blocks), the HELP messages (10400 blocks) and DECnet Phase IV networking (800 blocks). 
(DECnet-Plus at 80000 blocks would not install with -24400 blocks calculated so I went with Phase IV.)
Not much space is left but the system booted off the RZ23.
