We gave up on finding one inexpensively and had a tape deconstruction party.  Once we had all the spools out we crushed them in a big shop press with 90 degree metal brake head.  Yeah, you still had strips of tape with data on it, each about 10" or less.

We saved the bearings out of the cartridges; it turns out they are a fairly standard size used on wood router bits so we found good uses for them.
