Not necessarily, because if you can do one thing very well, it can
compensate for the inability to do other things well. Although the
computer might not see the person ahead reading a map while driving,
the computer also is likely to be able to swerve out of the way more
rapidly when the car ahead veers off.
Which is why, in part, vehicles need to know what is around them and who
is controlling them, and that's much of the hard part of the problem.
