No, but we want to move to x86.  VSI has said that it will be 
clusterable with 8.4 Alpha, but perhaps only with a VSI 8.4 Alpha.  
Presumably the same for Itanium.  For those with a cluster, migration 
via a rolling hardware upgrade is by far the best option.

True; I need a VSI hobby license for Alpha, at least if I have to run a 
VSI version of VMS in order to cluster with x86.

Yes, but also on Alpha, to enable people to get to x86 faster.
