Those settings and control panels relate to file sharing using AFP 
(Apple/AppleTalk Filing Protocol) over AppleTalk or TCP/IP networks.  
File sharing over DECnet using Pathworks probably needs to be 
configured completely separately.

Chapter 2 of the DECnet for Macintosh User's Guide on Bitsavers seems 
to indicate you can configure settings for access to the Mac, including 
a username/password for hard drive access, under "MAC Exec Settings" 
within the "NCP" program on the Mac (although that document is for an 
older version of the software, so things might be different).

Also, I believe Pathworks for Macintosh dates to the Mac OS 7.x time 
frame, so it's possible you could run into compatibility issues on Mac 
OS 9.
