Critical thought requires you to assess the validity of the source. Many of the folks here spouting are not VSI employees. And not that the VSI engineers might not be wrong -- we're not the final decision makers on all fronts, but we're more likely to know where the ship is heading.

I suspect I'm in a better position to asses the truth of my statement since cluster compatibility is one of the many areas of the base OS for which I am currently the responsible engineer.

Ada has some issues. There are people working on that.
Most other compilers will be the standard VMS front ends tied to an LLVM code generator. So I don't think Mr Froble should be nervous at all.
