   Despite a lot of confusing claims, RMS is not a DBMS.  All the
   complaints about what it is lacking are examples of why it is not a
   DBMS.

   If you need ISAM, or keyed-indexed-files, on an OS that has them, use
   them.

   If you need a DBMS, but one.
