There is a lot of room between minimum wage and $150/hr.  With a 
forty-hour work week, that 24,000 per month.  Even allowing for the fact 
that that is gross pay, that as a freelancer one isn't permanently 
employed, that one has to pay all insurance etc oneself, that is still a 
very good salary.  Half of that would still be reasonable, and still a 
long way from minimum wage.
