And that is Canadian dollars. I just had a Canadian wanting to buy
some PDP-11 stuff from me today complaining about how the Canadian
Dollar had tanked when converting to US Dollars.
And, don't forget, if it's a contract position you are paying your
own taxes out of that. And health care. And insurance. And no
paid holidays. No paid vacation. People too often confuse 1099
work with being a full-time employee.
