> Have not used the 4048 but on others from the same family this behavior is typically controlled via "Command View" operating on the MSL unit - check out "Library Information" page and the "Library Mode" value. You might want something like "Automatic, Sequential" though other values can provide similar behavior.

I know I have the same settings as the LTO4, sequential, automatic I'll check on.
