Posting from the cheap seats... This would be my take. Anyone that
care[s|d] found a solution that suits them about two decades ago.

I would be surprised to find any new heavy lifting done in PASCAL, so I'd
rather John (et al) work on other things, putting time and effort into
things that might draw in new customers.
