Thanks for the cluster info, it's what I wanted to know

That's a shame, part of the fun with the HP license was getting a little cluster going

I had a little HP micro sever running esxi with visualised windows and had a 3 node cluster going with disks spread across all 3. Great for playing with and learning and trying things on a cluster

Disk performance was woeful as I only have spinning rust but it was fun and I played with cluster related aspects is never get to play with in a work environment

Seems like the VSI licensing is too restrictive to get me back to playing with VMS again, shame, this was something I might have enjoyed picking up again

Never thought I'd say it but it does appear that HP was certainly more generous in its hobbyist program than VSI but I'm hopeful that VSI keeps tinkering with their hobbyist program, after all, it is in its infancy
