Hey John,

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but isn't that an attribute on a file, and has 
nothing to do with a disk?

I also thought that it was Ok to use a defragmenter that respected the 
attribute?

The only method I can think of, for now, would be to scan all the file 
attributes.  An enhancement might be a disk attribute that is set if any 
files have that attribute.  And perhaps a count, or scan of all file 
attributes, when removing the attribute or file.

Or perhaps you're looking for an easy method for scanning file 
attributes?  Lots of Steve's "glue code" when doing so.

If you're interested, I have some code that gets into file attributes.
