Same.  The only way I run windows is in a virtual box on my MacBook.   I don't mind the more frequent licensing but I have the Alpha hardware, my home hobby environment, disks, third party products, compilers, etc so renewing the entire environment every 6 months, or giving up my decade-plus old environment would not be a  desirable move.

And I was maybe 2 months from likely getting hold of a retired office-cabinet RX2620; there may be no point to that now.
