Over the edge? What edge?

Many people use VMS for many different purposes. Not all are similar.
Some uses are very dissimilar.

For instance, you have declared that a VMS system without Rdb is
useless. I believe that is what you declared. None of our customers
use Rdb. Their systems are VERY useful to them. Every bit as useful,
or more, than your customer's VMS systems are to your customers.

You have exhibited a "knee-jerk" reaction to using a physical terminal.
Why? If someone has some terminals laying around, and they can be
useful, what's wrong with that? Don't bother, there can never be
anything wrong with using something that does the job, and the job needs
to be done.

Terminals vs terminal emulators. Hmmm ....

You seem to favor emulators, but, your customers have real CPUs, not
emulators. Why is a real terminal so bad, but a real CPU is Ok?

Tolerance is a good thing.

Well, sometimes. Don't get me started on junk PC keyboards, my
tolerance for them is little to none.

:-)
