I said EDT keypad layout, not EDT.

I stopped using EDT approximately half a day after I switched from
RSTS/E to VAX/VMS and tried EVE for the first time.

However, the EDT keypad layout has been available in every editor
I have used seriously since, including Emacs. Emacs is my primary
editor outside of VMS and is an editor I use every day.
