WEENDOZE! WEENDOZE! WEENDOZE!>
Get over yourself Jan. It's a PoS and that;s not Personal Operating system.
As you may or may not know, my passion is to fly high power rockets. Thanks
to the electronics miniaturization revolution/evolution, my rockets fly with
extensive on-board electronics. One of the flight computers/altimeters that
I own only has a WEENDOZE interface for downloading its flight data. I have
numerous altimeters which work with Mac OSX, Linux and WEENDOZE but only this
one that is WEENDOZE only. I have to fight with fucking WEENDOZE every time
I plug the altimeter in to USB. It appears; it disappears; it appears; it
disappears; lather, rinse, repeat. I hate the fucking thing! If I plug it
into Mac OSX or Linux, I can see the device without any issue. Sadly, there
is no download software. The manufacturer my checked the unit repeatedly and
flashed its firmware with new code. This altimeter functions very well. In
fact, it is *THE* MOST reliable unit I have flown but its download software's
ties to/on shitty WEENDOZE is why I will never ever buy another. Could you
imagine the public's outrage if their mobiles connected to wireless service
and then, at a whim and repeatedly, disconnected and then reconnected, lather,
rinse, repeat, vis a vis PoS WEENDOZE???
I'll continue to malign WEENDOZE for the PoS it is until it exists no more.
Thank you.
