Not sure what you're doing in the registry but I agree the constant 
changing is tiresome. Look, I know .NET Core is a good thing (like VMS 
desired-state images will be) but it's strange to think about life 
without a web.config.

As dyed in the wool VMSer I have always been I long for the day that 
.NET runs on VMS!
