Tapesys issues mounts with an opcom to TAPES with a reply qualifier, once  tape has been mounted in the requested drive, the request has satisfied and the opcom goes away. Until then the opcom persists, unless a reply/to=xx "Cancel " is issued which causes the job to be cancelled.
