Thought about this a bit more.  All my printing from VMS is strictly 
text.  Probably makes a bit of a difference.

9000, 9100, and such are, by habit, port numbers I usually select, so I 
guess that part came from me.  It's the name that I didn't find in any 
COM files when I looked.

For both of them, "it just works" ....

That will be nice, and more of what's expected of such these days.
