It sort of depends upon usage.

I write small modular pieces of code.  A couple hundred lines is big for 
me.  No problem there for EDT.  Does make for lots of modules.  But 
small specific purpose modules sure makes it harder to have logic 
problems.  YMMV.

Now, if one chooses to write 50,000 lines of code in a single routine, 
then yes, there could be issues.
