ZFS doesn't stop bit rot on disks.  What ZFS does is to detect the bit 
rot and correct it, if it's detected early enough.  To this end, it's 
suggested to do a "scrub" of the ZFS pool periodically to validate 
checksums (of metadata and data).

ZFS includes redundancy (multiple type of RAID), snapshots, send & 
receive support, and many, Many, MANY other features.
