I guess we are talking about two different items.   I
meant the Apple Developer program from the real MAC days.
When they used to distribute beta software and a lot of
tools on regular (monthly I think) CD's and Apple actually
had their own OS.

Same thing here. I think.  he was talking about MSDN when it
actually was something.

Freeware will not keep VMS alive.
