[Info-vax] RV082 ES80 NATBox for AMS/SPM

Hi,

I'm having trouble with replacing an ancient SMC NAT Box on an ES80 system.  The last one that went pop had similar issues, but I don't have the notes from the person who finally managed to use the right incantations to configure the RV082 replacement. :o(

The RV082 is on a private network, between the AMS system and the management ports of the ES80.  WAN (Internet) port on the RV082 goes to the AMS system, and the network ports on the RV082 go to the ES80's management ports.

All of the config in the documentation (found at ftp://unimatrix.gomtuu.net/pub/doc/computer/vendors/Hewlett_Packard/systems/Alpha/AlphaServer_ES80/manuals/natbox-install.pdf) seems to be successful, but all of the console connections show up as "Refused" in the AMS/SPM web page.

Doing a telnet 1.2.3.4 port# from the AMS box gives a Connection Refused message, too.

On the one that's working, the telnet reports that the connection is already used by something (AMS) and gives a five second window to type YES to pinch the connection out from under it.

Anyone got any ideas what step I'm missing in getting the RV082 to work, please?
