Probably of little help...
The last time I looked at that stuff, it was unclear if some of that
equipment was potentially not strictly necessary; whether a straight
switch might work in its place.

For grins, I'd try installing and connecting a couple of 16 port
switches, or connecting and wiring a 24-port switch, and see if it
worked well enough to get the box going.
The NAT provides the path for external boxes to connect onto that
network, and a way to prevent the riffraff from rattling around on that
LAN.

Check all of the cabinet grounding wiring, too.
