Sometimes bugs get introduced when making some other change/improvement.
And this one was discovered and fixed somewhat quickly, but not quickly
enough to prevent escape into the wild.

As to why it happened sometimes, maybe I'll pull the image with the fix and
the previous version, $ DIFF them and see what changed.  Or maybe not.
