I loved RSTS/E; that was my first computing experience.
However, once I saw that LINKing on VMS was near-instantaneous vs. about 20 minutes
(due to a complex overlay) for TKB'ing on RSTS/E, I never looked back.
That's a real-world example; at that time, I was developing a product for use on RSTS/E in BASIC,
and did all the development and debugging on VMS, and did a final build and test on RSTS/E.
