Probably; but this also depends on the amount of usage of the emulator
on your PC.
If your employer has a support contract with Stromasys, they get a
"spare license key" which is good for 360 hours of operation per year.
If this is enough for your home system, you could use this key. On the
other hand, if something happens to the production license key (breaks,
is destroyed, or stolen) your employer does not have the spare key handy
to cover the time until he receives a replacement key.

I'd strongly suggest to run the installation procedure, The installation
does several things beyond copying files to the proper places, like
install a network driver and create a User Group (on Windows) with the
required permissions etc.

You probably need to adapt the path specifications for virtual disk and
tape container files, and the name of the network adapter CHARON should
use for the emulated system, at a minimum. Depending on the emulated
model and the hardware you run CHARON on at home, you may also want o
reduce the number of emulated CPUs and/or the amount of emulated memory.
Please take the time to read the Users Guide, at least the chapters on
installation and on the utilities coming with the software.
Best regards,
Hans.
