Why not use one of the P2V tools to virtualize your existing 
development/backup server, then you can run it in a VM on your 
windows/10 laptop under a hypervisor so as Virtual Box, VM Ware, or 
Microsoft Hyper-V, that is assuming Charon doesn't use the same virtual 
assists that the above use.

You will need to check the Charon licencing to see if this is permitted.

If not I suggest a new install. Moving applications between machines can 
be painful, especially if they use bindings to network cards.
