Different strokes for different folks, but my guess is that a very large 
majority of paying customers (presumably those with most influence on 
VSI) use clusters.

Of course there are advantages.

Similar remarks reply to Rdb.  I don't know what fraction of VMS users 
use it, but I guess that a large majority of VMS revenue comes from 
those who use Rdb.
