> For a start, list the full TCP/IP configuration. What are your DHCP settings? What does the DHCP server have as requested DHCP leases? 

When down, the router shows just the reservation. When up it still shows the old address, as well as the reservation. THe reservations are both within the address range of the server.

I believe the server is right, as it correctly moved a couple of connected PIs
