That you are unfamiliar with including condition code values in an
OpenVMS app implies a lack of foundation around programming Fortran on
OpenVMS.
Build that foundation of knowledge.
Where to start? OpenVMS Fortran User's Guide, and the OpenVMS
Programming Concepts, then maybe the OpenVMS Fortran reference manual.
And for this case, use X Window and the SET DISPLAY command, and aim
the debugger running in batch at some open X Window Server somewhere.
That's if you can't debug the process interactively, and compare the
process quotas for interactive against those for batch. And I'd start
with interactive debugging.
The above may well read like techno-babble gibberish, too. That's the
missing foundation in OpenVMS programming.
