If you have case fans but the CPU is cooled only by convection, then you
should see the case temperature going out of range before the CPU temperature
does.
If that isn't the case (and in your log there is no mention of ambient
air errors), the first thing to check is that the the CPU heatsink is
properly anchored and solid. If the heatsink has come loose, you will
see the CPU going out of range very quickly. It won't hurt to remove the
CPU, clean it, put new thermal grease on and torque everything down again.
