Around here, if one doesn't want something, put it out by the road with
a "for sale" sign. It will quickly disappear.

So, Ok, forget the dumpster. Say it gets to the landfill. Say someone
there picks it up. Then what?
It's surprising what some people will throw out.
I know some employees of a local trash company who pick out all kinds of
things. Never had to spend a dime on Atari and such.
I know a lady that works at a ski resort. She has a bunch of almost new
ski equipment. Those with more money then they need will come to the
resort, purchase skis, boots, and the rest, then leave it when they
leave. Who needs skis in Florida?
