Enterprise Directory provides both client (DUA) and server (DSA) components:

Folks using ED server (DSA) aren't all that common, given the ubiquity
of AD and OD LDAP servers.
OpenVMS had a shim to connect LOGINOUT into LDAP authentication.
In addition to OD (which I've tried) and AD (which everybody else
tried), the LOGINOUT support will probably also connect to ED.
But I've not encountered any folks using ED for OpenVMS authentication.

They've a VSI-branded version, presumably with whatever patches are
current. Beyond that?
