[Info-vax] ldap versus openldap on VMS

Upto now all that you have had from Compaq/HPE with regard to an LDAP product was the client part. 
With the latest VSI OpenLDAP kit you get both the server and the client part.

As for the Enterprise Directory, I'm not sure whether anyone at VSI has any definitive plans.

It would be interesting to see the difference in the LDAP performance on OpenVMS between OpenLDAP and the Enterprise Directory. If I get the chance I will have a go.
