All product positioning fodder for VSI, that.

I'm unfamiliar with the origin story for the Compaq (maybe DEC?) 
Enterprise Directory product.

As for the future, OpenLDAP is being actively enhanced and updated by a 
team of developers. By all appearances, OpenVMS Enterprise Directory is 
receiving maintenance.
