I believe OpenLDAP 2.4.47 was released in February/March. Is this a
newer version?

OpenLDAP is rather widely used and available for almost
all platforms (Linux, Windows, macOS, *BSD, AIX, HP-UX,
Solaris, z/OS - and also VMS).

Unless one is a Microsoft shop, then OpenLDAP is a
common choice.
