I endeavor to keep newgroup postings fairly short. Covering this particularly topic is not really feasible in a very short format. 

It is probably too long for a single entry in my OpenVMS blog. A better forum would be the presently-on-pause OpenVMS Technical Journal. Indeed, such an article was on my list to write when I had free time. Unfortunately, life intervened and the Journal paused before I wrote the actual article.

I have put it back on my queue.
