I use RPM Elite from Brooks Internet Software. You will need the "elite" version to get the PCL to PDF functionality. Also will need a windows box to run it on. You create virtual printers that you send PCL files to, just like a regular printer. Virtual printer(s) can be configured to save pdf in folder, attach to email, etc.

You can do things like put data in first couple of lines of PCL file for things like file name, email address, etc. You can then apply a "transform" to extract and use those things, then remove the lines before converting the rest to PCL. It's worked very well for us.

Again, you will need the "elite" version for PCL to PDF functionality.

Might have a need to convert PCL files to PDF files on VMS.

Looking at Ghostscript. Any opinions? Any other suggestions.

Anyone using Ghostscript, did you find an executable, or build from sources?

Advice appreciated ...
